Permethrin and Cetrimide Lotion is a topical medicated lotion used primarily for the treatment of scabies, lice infestations (head and pubic lice), and skin infections. It combines the effects of Permethrin, a potent insecticide, with Cetrimide, an antiseptic and cleansing agent, to offer dual-action protection against parasitic infestations and bacterial contamination of the skin.

1. Permethrin
   A synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that works by paralyzing and killing mites and lice, including their eggs. It is highly effective against Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies mites) and Pediculus humanus capitis (head lice).

2. Cetrimide
   A quaternary ammonium antiseptic that helps disinfect the skin, prevents bacterial infections, and promotes cleansing of the affected area.
